			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Following the success of our last carnival in 2000, there are plans afoot to hold another one on 3 July 2010. The theme is <em>Brixworth, Past Present and Future</em>.</p>
<p>There will be a Carnival King and Queen, together with Princes and Princesses.</p>
<p>All village organisations will be invited to take part and there are plans to invite some marching bands, majorettes and Morris Men.</p>
<p>The details of the route are still being negotiated with the various bodies but is expected to be similar to the previous one.</p>
