Various rumours have been circulating the village via gossip, email and even on Facebook, concerning the possibility that Paul Gadd/Gary Glitter has moved to Brixworth.

Brixworth Online recently received an anonymous email to this effect. The message included an address in the village where Mr Gadd was suspected of having taken residence. The author claimed to have been informed by “local constabulary”.

Brixworth Online has been in touch with local constabulary regarding this issue and the police have confirmed that Mr Gadd does not reside at the address mentioned in the email. In addition, as a registered sex offender, Mr Gadd must notify local police when he enters the area, and he has not.
